Cucumber Raita

Cucumber 200g
Tomato 100g
Onion 100 g
Green chilli 1 no
Salt enough to taste
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Curd 2 ½ cups
Chopped coriander leaves ½ tbsp


Stage 1

Separate the cucumber seeds by scooping it out of the white bed portion. Scrape the white bed portion and mince the seed portion. Chop onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander leaves. Keep it all aside

Stage 2

Take a mixing bowl and pour curd, beat it thoroughly using a fork until there are no lumps.

Stage 3

To this, add scraped cucumber, minced seeds, chopped onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander leaves. Season it with salt and pepper, mix it thoroughly.

Cucumber raita is ready to serve.


  • You may take cucumber raita along with sambar rice , Biriyani , rotis etc. It’s simple to prepare and cool to taste.
