Masala Potato Finger Fries

Masala Potato Finger Fries

Potato 250 gm
Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Salt enough to taste
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Asafoetida ¼ t sp
Turmeric powder ¼ t sp
Corn starch ½ tb sp
Oil 1 tb sp

Preparation

stage 1

slice the potatoes and cut them long with sides around 0.5cm . Transfer it to a mixing bowl. To this add salt, pepper, asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well.

stage 2

Now heat the frying pan and pour oil. While the oil gets heated, to the potato mixture add corn starch and mix well once again.

stage 3

To the hot oil, toss the potato fingers and let it form crusts on all sides. Now keep it in medium flame and let it get cooked and fried with occasional tossing.

Now drain the oil and transfer it to a serving bowl and what more.

Enjoy the crunch and lingering taste.

Tips

  • Add corn starch just before frying to avoid it being washed off by the moist released from potatoes.
