Curd 1 ½ cups
Water ½ cup
Shallots 7 nos
Ginger Chopped 1 ½ to 2 tea sp
Curry leaves 7 leaves
Green chilli 2 nos
Coriander leaves ½ tb sp


Take 1 ½ cups of thick curd in a bowl and add ½ cup of water. Slice shallots and green chillies. Chop ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Add everything to the bowl. Add salt enough to taste.

Tasty Raita is ready!!


  • If you don’t know the mount of salt adds a little using a tea spoon and taste the raita. Repeat it until you are comfortable with the salt.Hotness of the chilli varies with the type used. So don’t add all the chillies. Add a small amount and taste it.
