Cabbage thoran is a Kerala style, regular home and feast dish .
Cabbage is an excellent source of vitamin B6 and calcium. It is easy to cook, especially if you are expecting guests and have to cook a pretty good amount.

Heat a frying pan, pour and heat oil. To it add mustards and wait for it to pop. To it add dried red chilli cut in small pieces. As it fries, add curry leaves. To this mixture add chopped cabbage. Also add salt and turmeric and mix thoroughly. Close the pan with a lid and allow it to cook, stirring occasionally in between.
When the cabbage is thoroughly cooked, add scraped coconut and mix well. Stir until the raw smell goes away.
Now the dish is ready to serve.
